On September 28, 2006, AABN's 2006 Fall Event was held at LIFE Center for Independent Living, 2201 Eastland Drive, Bloomington.

Our featured speaker was Kevin Irvine of Equip for Equality who spoke on Voter and Transportation rights. Mr. Irvine was joined by representatives from both McLean County and the City of Bloomington Election Offices who also brought two voting machines for demonstration. Bloomington-Normal Public Transit was also on hand with an accessible bus to demonstrate its features and answer question on accessible services. The event was attended by several Election Judges, concerned citizens, and people with disabilities. Delicious snacks were provided by Jewel-Osco in the Parkway Plaza.
